InsureKlick Solutions Private Limited (“InsureKlick”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including its affiliates, is committed to respecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

When you register or activate services, we collect information such as your device type, network details, ABHA number (if linked), and unique user identifiers.

When you use our services, our servers automatically create records of your visit (IP address, device ID, browser, time of access, pages visited, referral source, and similar data).

c. Information You Provide to Us

When creating an account, scheduling consultations, uploading prescriptions, or seeking care coordination, we may collect:

  • Name, age, gender, and contact details
  • Health information, prescriptions, test results, and reports
  • Location and emergency contact details
  • Payment and billing information
  • Consents and preferences (e.g., marketing, location sharing)

 

d. Transactions and Usage

We retain details of your consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy orders, or other services used through InsureKlick, including payment information, invoices, and communication logs.

e. Location Data

Some features (e.g., hospital discovery, in-person doctor navigation) use location-based services via GPS, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth. We use this data only to provide relevant services and not to personally identify you without consent.

f. Camera, Gallery, and Document Access

To enable you to upload prescriptions, lab reports, or identification proofs, we request access to your device camera or gallery. These files are encrypted and accessible only to authorized doctors and you.

g. Fitness and Wellness Data

If you connect third-party health apps or devices (e.g., fitness trackers), we may collect data such as steps, calories, heart rate, and sleep metrics to enhance wellness features. This data is collected only with your explicit consent and can be withdrawn anytime in your account settings.

h. Information from Partners

We may receive data from verified partners such as hospitals, diagnostics, or payment providers. All such transfers comply with applicable data laws and are used solely for providing you services.

2. Why We Process Personal Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide healthcare discovery, matching, and coordination services.
  • To process appointments, prescriptions, and payments.
  • To ensure the functionality and security of our platform.
  • To improve and personalize our services.
  • To send updates, alerts, and promotional offers (with your consent).

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • With payment gateways (UPI, Razorpay, Cashfree) to process transactions securely.

All partners are bound by contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Your data may be processed or stored on secure cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) located outside India. We ensure that such transfers comply with Indian data protection requirements and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

We employ technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption, firewalls, and restricted access.
While we take all reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. By using our services, you acknowledge the inherent risks of data transmission over the internet.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors without parental consent.

InsureKlick uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and personalization.

  • Analytics Cookies: Used to analyze site usage (e.g., via Google Analytics).

11. Grievance Redressal Mechanism

In compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, InsureKlick has appointed a Grievance Officer to address concerns.

12. Changes to This Policy
