Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains how InsureKlick Solutions Private Limited (“InsureKlick,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles cancellations, rescheduling, and refund requests related to our services, including doctor consultations, diagnostic bookings, subscription plans, and other paid services offered through the InsureKlick website and mobile application (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

By using our Platform or making any purchase through it, you agree to this Policy. Please read it carefully before making any booking or payment.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Doctor consultations (online and in-person)
  • Diagnostic and lab bookings
  • Subscription-based health plans and wellness services
  • Insurance, financial, or healthcare partner services facilitated via InsureKlick
  • Any other paid services offered on the Platform

     

2. General Terms

  • All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways, including UPI, Razorpay, and Cashfree.
  • Refunds, when approved, are processed to the same payment source.
  • Refund timelines may vary depending on the payment method and the policies of the respective bank or payment provider (typically 5–10 business days).
  • Convenience or transaction fees charged by payment gateways are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • InsureKlick reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time, and such changes will be posted on the Platform.

     

3. Consultation Cancellations and Refunds

A. User-Initiated Cancellations

  • Cancellations made at least 2 hours before the scheduled consultation time are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled time may be subject to a 50% deduction or rescheduling, at InsureKlick’s discretion.
  • No-shows (failure to attend the consultation without prior notice) are non-refundable.

     

B. Provider-Initiated Cancellations

If a doctor or healthcare provider cancels or is unavailable:

  • Users will be notified immediately.
  • You may reschedule the appointment at no additional cost or request a full refund.

     

C. Technical Failures

In the event of a confirmed technical issue (e.g., failed video call or platform outage) preventing the consultation, you may request:

  • A free rescheduling, or
  • A full refund, upon verification of the issue by InsureKlick’s technical team.

     

4. Diagnostic & Lab Test Bookings

  • Cancellations made 12 hours before the sample collection or appointment time are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 12 hours may be subject to a 25–50% deduction, depending on the lab’s policy.
  • Once a test sample is collected, no refund is permitted.
  • If a test is unavailable, delayed, or cancelled by the diagnostic partner, a full refund will be issued.

     

5. Subscriptions, Memberships & Wellness Plans

  • Subscription or membership fees (monthly, quarterly, or annual) are generally non-refundable once activated.
  • In case of auto-renewal, you may cancel anytime before the renewal date to avoid further charges.
  • Refunds may be considered in exceptional cases such as:

     

    • Duplicate payments
    • Technical errors during activation
    • Service non-availability for more than 15 consecutive days

       

Refunds in such cases will be processed after review and approval by InsureKlick’s support team.

6. Health Loan or Insurance-Linked Services

For loan or insurance-linked healthcare services facilitated by InsureKlick in partnership with registered NBFCs or insurers:

  • Refunds, cancellations, or prepayments are governed by the respective partner’s terms and conditions.
  • InsureKlick acts solely as a facilitator and is not responsible for refunds on financial transactions processed by third-party entities.

     

7. Mode of Refund

Approved refunds will be issued:

  • To the original mode of payment, or
  • As credit to the user’s InsureKlick wallet (if applicable and preferred).

     

Refunds will generally reflect within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Non-Refundable Transactions

No refunds will be made for:

  • Completed consultations or diagnostic services.
  • Subscription or wellness services already delivered.
  • Missed appointments due to user negligence.
  • Payments for third-party insurance or financial services, where governed by their independent refund rules.

     

9. Grievances and Refund Requests

If you believe a refund is due or a transaction was made in error, please contact us with your transaction details and reason for the refund request.

We will acknowledge all refund-related grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 working days.

10. Force Majeure

InsureKlick shall not be responsible for any delay or inability to process cancellations or refunds due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, strikes, government restrictions, or platform downtime.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with refunds or cancellations shall be governed by Indian law. The courts of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all such matters.
